Insurance Policy
We do accept most dental benefits. As a courtesy, we’ll also file claims on your behalf. Insurance can be overwhelming to understand, but our ladies are pros at navigating the insurance world. Give us a call if you have any questions!

Your new patient exam is on us! We want to get to know you and understand what you’re looking for with orthodontics. Dr. Patra will evaluate your bite, teeth, and smile to develop your customized treatment plan.
Orthodontics isn’t one size fits all. It’s designed to adapt to your needs. After a thorough diagnosis and evaluation, Dr. Patra will recommend treatment options based on your specific smile goals.
No surprises here! Once we’ve reviewed your treatment plan, we’ll go over the timeline, costs, insurance, and payment options. We look forward to being part of your journey to a gorgeous smile.
Have Any Questions?
Get the answers below.
-
Do I need a referral to make an appointment?
No. We do not require a referral from your dentist. If you have questions or concerns about your smile, we are here to answer them!
-
At what age should I bring my child into the office?
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends first visiting an orthodontist by age seven. An early evaluation helps to determine a baseline for your child’s growth and can help to identify developing orthodontic problems as permanent teeth erupt and baby teeth are lost. When needed, early identification and interception can provide many benefits for your child, including guide jaw growth, correct improper bite relationships, create space for permanent teeth, and prevent the need for the extraction of teeth in the future.
-
Am I too old for treatment?
Never! Adults of all ages can benefit from orthodontic treatment.
-
Am I a good candidate for Invisalign?
Maybe! Dr. Patra will make a thorough diagnosis and evaluation at your new patient exam and recommend treatment options based on your specific needs. Visit our Invisalign page to learn about the process.
-
How long will I be in treatment?
About six months to 2+ years, depending on the scope of treatment and case complexity.
-
How often will I need to come in?
Every treatment plan is different, but typically you’ll need to come in at 4-12 week intervals.
-
Will I have to wear a retainer?
Absolutely! We want you to protect your investment and wearing your retainer will do just that! Our mantra: Night time for a lifetime! We do have several retainer options available to meet your needs.
I walked out with a beautiful smile! Super nice people and wonderful experience! Committed to perfection.
